Exposed: The One Ally That’s Russia’s Biggest Headache – You Won’t Guess Who
North Korea Poses Biggest Problem for Ukraine, Says Intelligence Chief
Ukraine’s intelligence chief, Kirilo Budanov, has stated that among Moscow’s allies, North Korea poses the biggest problem for Kiev due to the significant supply of artillery shells used on the Ukrainian front.
Speaking at a conference in Kiev, General Budanov emphasized that North Korea’s military equipment supply greatly affects the intensity of the fighting. “Of all Russia’s allies, our biggest problem is North Korea because with the amount of military equipment they supply, they really affect the intensity of the fighting,” he said.
The North Korean authorities provide a substantial amount of artillery shells, which is crucial for Ukraine. However, General Budanov admitted that Ukraine currently cannot do anything about it.
While the delivery of ballistic missiles by North Korea is also a concern, General Budanov stressed that it is less serious due to their smaller size.
The United States and South Korea have accused Pyongyang of supplying Russia with ammunition and missiles to support its 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Although Pyongyang denies these accusations, an analysis of debris by Conflict Armament Research revealed that missiles produced in North Korea this year are being used in Ukraine.
General Budanov believes that Russia will attempt to end the war before 2026 to avoid weakening its positions due to accumulating economic problems, particularly those caused by Western sanctions and mobilization issues resulting from significant losses at the front.
