Simone Ashley, known for her role in “Bridgerton,” will have a smaller part than anticipated in the upcoming Formula 1 film starring Brad Pitt. Although she was seen at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit during filming last year, director Joseph kosinski saeid her role was cut in the final edit.
Kosinski, who also directed “Top Gun: Maverick,” explained that some storylines didn’t make the final cut of the film, which follows Pitt as retired racer Sonny hayes, who mentors rookie driver Joshua “Noah” Pearce (Damson Idris) on the fictional APXGP team.
Speaking to People, Kosinski praised Ashley’s talent and expressed his desire to work with her again. Ashley’s character will still appear in the film, but she will not have any lines.
