PROVO, Utah – Egor Demin, a former Real⁣ madrid youth player now at Brigham Young University ‍(BYU), has announced his‍ intention to enter the 2025 NBA Draft. The declaration comes after Demin’s arrival at BYU, where he has expressed satisfaction with his development both on and off the court.

In a statement, Demin conveyed his excitement about ⁣the upcoming challenge. “I am ⁣excited to⁢ announce that I will register in the NBA Draft of 2025,” Demin said. “It is another challenge⁣ that I am willing to assume, ⁣and I am not afraid of the problems that I can find in this path.”

Demin also reflected on his ⁢decision to join BYU, highlighting the positive⁣ environment he found there. He noted that he made the⁢ decision to come to BYU 10 months ago. “I am super happy to have made the decision…this place is amazing. Decision to Enter‍ NBA Draft Was “Stressful”

Demin described the process of deciding to enter the NBA Draft⁢ as challenging. He is projected as a potential top-12 pick. “They were⁣ a couple of days and weeks of deep reflection, prayers, and being undecided (if I⁣ stay or leave), trying to find a way to understand what my next ⁣step would be. It was quiet stressful, not only ⁣for me, but also‍ for my family and for those who supported me. And yes, I am happy that I now be official and finally I can breathe deep and take the next step ⁤in my‍ career,” he shared.

Gratitude to Coaches and Mentors

Demin expressed gratitude to BYU coach Kevin Young for his guidance. He also thanked Travis Hansen, a former Real Madrid player and BYU assistant coach, for his ⁣mentorship. ⁤”You gave me everything you could and I am very grateful for that.”
