Last night, four vehicles collided one after another on the Gochang-Damyang Highway, resulting in the deaths of three people.
While the accident that occurred first on the first and second lanes of the highway was being treated, the damage increased due to the crash of subsequent vehicles.

An SUV racing from behind crashes into the small car involved in an accident.
The driver of another vehicle and the driver of the SUV got out of the car and went to help the people on board the light vehicle, alerting the cars following them.
However, about 6 minutes later, two tourist buses passed by and a driver who saw them urgently signaled them to stop using the cell phone light, but the buses crashed into the compact car.
A woman in her thirties, a 5-year-old child and the driver of a forty-year-old SUV who were trying to help them died.

″Could the driver of Palisade (second collision) go to the front and signal with his lights? So, I was about 20 meters away and I was shining a flashlight, when a tour bus came and took it and left.”
The compact car in which the mother and son were traveling was crushed beyond recognition and all the airbags inside the SUV exploded.
A 7-year-old boy who was riding in the passenger seat of the compact car and four passengers on the bus were also injured, but their conditions were not believed to be life-threatening.
The location where the minor car accident occurred was on a curved section and the surrounding area was getting dark as the day was setting.
During the police investigation, the bus driver stated: “While I was driving I did not notice the location of the previous accident.”
The police plan to request an autopsy to determine the exact cause-and-effect relationship of the accident process in which the deceased died.
