Fatal Hamilton Crash: 1 Dead, 2 Injured on Wilson Street

One Dead, Two Injured in Hamilton Two-Vehicle Collision

One person is dead and two others are in hospital following a collision between two vehicles in Hamilton, Ontario, on Tuesday night. The incident occurred on Wilson Street, just west of Highway 403, around 7:30 p.m., according to Hamilton police.

Police confirmed that one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were transported to hospital – one in critical condition and the other in stable condition.

“Out of respect for the families involved, no identifying information will be released at this time,” police said in a news release.

The cause of the collision remains unknown at this time. Authorities have closed Wilson Street between Shaver Road and Hamilton Drive to facilitate the ongoing investigation. The Ontario Provincial Police have also closed the Highway 403 off-ramps leading to Wilson Street.

The incident occurred just west of Highway 403 in the Ancaster area of Hamilton, according to the Toronto Sun.
