“Two police officers also suffered stab wounds and are currently in hospital. They both require surgery and have serious, but non-life threatening injuries.”

The man tried to escape by climbing onto the roof of the garage, but was caught after being hit by a police stun gun and about 20 minutes later.

Nearby subway stations were immediately closed in preparation for an emergency.

The motive for the crime has not yet been confirmed.

However, local media reported that an eyewitness shouted at the confronting police, “Do you believe in God?”

London police determined that this incident was not related to terrorism.

In addition, it was revealed that the attack was not aimed at a specific person.

Chief Minister Rishi Sunak said it was a shocking incident and offered his condolences to the victims and their families.

He also expressed his gratitude for the courage shown by the police at the scene.

In London alone, stabbing incidents have increased by 20% recently, reaching over 14,000 last year alone, becoming another factor of concern in British society.
