Father Killed by Thugs During Daughter’s Wedding in Purwakarta

A man identified as Dadang was killed after being assaulted by a group of thugs during his daughter’s wedding celebration in Purwakarta, West Java.

The incident occurred at the location of the wedding festivities in the Campaka District of Purwakarta. According to reports from detikNews, Kompas, and CNN Indonesia, the victim was the host of the event.

Chronology of the Assault

The violence reportedly began when a dispute broke out involving local youths. This confrontation escalated into a mob attack against Dadang, who was hosting the wedding for his daughter.

The assault resulted in the death of the father, turning the wedding celebration into a scene of tragedy. Local reports indicate the attack was carried out by individuals identified as thugs (preman).

Police Investigation
