Toronto Blue Jays’ Ryu Hyun-jin (35) has been placed on the injured list.

MLB.com, the official MLB website, reported on the 18th (Korean time) that Ryu Hyun-jin was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left forearm injury.

Hyunjin Ryu complained of pain in his left forearm after starting the home game against the Oakland Athletics on the 17th. He received treatment after finishing his pitch, but he was unable to avoid being placed on the injured list.

Ryu Hyun-jin was not properly restrained due to the aftermath of an arm injury. As a result, he allowed a lot of strong bats and he wobbled. Ryu Hyun-jin was sluggish for the second time in a row following his first game of the season, where he only allowed 5 runs in 4 innings and only 6 runs in 3⅓ innings.

It is highly likely that Ryu Hyun-jin will use this as an opportunity to recover from his injuries and improve his overall pitching condition during the period he was out of power due to being listed on the injured list.
