Former Flight Attendant’s Final Wish Fulfilled
Janet McAnnally, a 79-year-old former flight attendant, recently fulfilled her dream of flying one last time. She is battling stage 4 lung cancer and wanted to see the skies of California once more.
Friends and family arranged a special flight for her. Janet described the experience as moving, highlighting the beauty of the land and the rising moon during her flight. “It had rained earlier, and so the land just looked beautiful. All of a sudden, the moon began to come up, and that got me. I think I got a little emotional,” she said.
This journey was not only a personal milestone for Janet but also a celebration of her long career in the aviation industry. As she took to the skies, she reflected on her years of service and the joy each flight brought her.
Janet’s story resonates with many, showcasing the power of wishes and the importance of cherishing moments in life. Her flight served as a reminder to celebrate each day, especially when facing challenges like serious illness.
