It is with great sadness that we report on the tragic deaths of former MBLAQ members, GO and Choi Ye-seul, in Jeju. Both individuals were found deceased on the island, leaving friends, family, and fans devastated.

In an Instagram post on the 23rd, GO shared moments from his two-year stay in Jeju with Choi Ye-seul and expressed their plans to return to the mainland. Reflecting on their time together, GO stated, “I vividly remember the mix of excitement and apprehension we felt upon entering the country. Our reliance on each other was unwavering throughout our journey.” He also expressed gratitude for the valuable life experiences he gained during their time in Jeju.

Before bidding farewell, GO apologized for not being able to personally greet everyone and conveyed his sincere appreciation. He concluded by stating, “I hope to see you all again someday.”

Meanwhile, GO and Choi Ye-seul had tied the knot in 2019. Their marriage led them to settle down and establish a life in Jeju. However, Choi Ye-seul recently opened up about the challenges they faced, remarking in March, “My tranquil and peaceful existence in Jeju has been ruined. What used to be my beautiful home has transformed into torment. The incessant noise from the upper floors never seems to stop, except when I record. I hope to find relief from this constant hell once repairs are made.” Clearly, the couple’s idyllic life was marred by unbearable stress.

Former MBLAQ members GO and Choi Ye-seul end their lives in Jeju.

On the 23rd, GO revealed the time he spent in Jeju with Choi Ye-seul on his Instagram and wrote, “My wife and I are going to the mainland today after living in Jeju for two years.”

“I remember a day when I entered the country half excited and half scared and just relying on each other,” said GO “The most common thing I said to my wife while living in Jeju was ‘ I’m happy.’ I am sincerely grateful for the time which helped me learn and realize many things.” He expressed his gratitude.

Then he said, “I’m sorry I couldn’t say hello to everyone. Thank you very much. Be well,” and sent a final greeting, saying, “I’ll definitely see you sometime.”

Meanwhile, the former MBLAQ GO member married actress Choi Ye-seul in 2019. After settling down and living in Jeju, Choi Ye-seul said in March, “My quiet and peaceful life in Jeju is ruin. My pretty house turns into hell.
