This afternoon, former President Moon visited the cherry blossom street in Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do with First Lady Kim Jung-sook and met with Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-young of Yangsan Gap and citizens of Yangsan.
Former President Moon, who met citizens of Yangsan wearing a blue sweater, strongly criticized the Yoon Seok-yeol government, telling SBS reporters: “I have never seen a government that behaves so badly in my 70 years “.
At the same time, he stressed the need for the opposition party to win, saying: “I think the Democratic Party, Homeland Innovation Party, New Future and our opposition parties should achieve good results together to help the government come to its senses . . ”
Former President Moon also said, “When I first ran for the National Assembly in Busan Sasang, I was elected while walking along the cherry blossom road along the Nakdong River in Sasang,” and encouraged Lee Jae-young, the Democratic Party candidate for Yangsan, Gyeongnam, who was with him, said, “I hope you will be elected with the energy of walking along the cherry blossom road.”
Former President Moon is said to have visited Sasang in Busan, his constituency when he was a member of the National Assembly, this morning and met with Democratic Party candidate Bae Jae-jeong.
