Former Super Aguri Anthony Davidson “I’m proud to be able to reach F1 with my strength, not money”[F1-Gate .com]

Anthony Davidson says he is proud to have arrived in F1 with his strength, not his money.

At the age of 42, Andney Davidson has announced that he will put an end to his racing career in the final round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in Bahrain on November 6th.

Anthony Davidson started 24 races in F1 in his racing career, including a full F1 race at Super Aguri in 2007, with the best result in 11th place.

Anthony Davidson feels he was able to do better in F1, but he is grateful that he was able to race in F1 at that time, and is especially proud to get there with his strength, not his money. I look back when I think.

“There was a V10 engine and tire war in the 2000s, which was great,” said Anthony Davidson.

“At that time, I felt I could do more, but I’m happy to be able to perform with such a mega car.”

“I’m proud to be in F1 with talent alone. I didn’t pay to get there.”

Andney Davidson will no longer be a professional racer, but will continue to be involved in the F1 world, not only as an expert, but also as a Mercedes simulator.

Anthony Davidson’s technology is so good that he makes up for some of the lack of actual racing, but he doesn’t rule out returning to the race someday.

“I’ve always enjoyed driving cars fast on the racetrack and I don’t think it will ever leave me,” said Andney Davidson.

“The simulator has improved so much that my job at Mercedes will meet most of my needs.”

“One day I might drive a car with my friends. I don’t know what the future holds.”

Anthony Davidson wasn’t very successful in F1, but he won the WEC title at Toyota in 2014 and is known as the World Champion.

Anthony Davidson takes great pride in that and feels that he has made up for some of the slight lack of victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“I can look back on being the FIA World Champion with great pride,” said Anthony Davidson.

“I won the championship in 2014. I always say that it takes more skill sets than winning a big event like Le Mans, a single race to put together a title winning campaign in the full season. I came. ”
