Former WWE wrestler Matt Riddle⁢ failed to ⁤appear at a charity⁢ wrestling event held this past Sunday‍ in barnsley,⁣ England. The event, organized by Global Wrestling Kingdom, aimed to raise funds for survivors of domestic abuse and homeless veterans.

According to reports, Riddle did not travel to the United‍ Kingdom for the scheduled appearance and has not yet returned⁤ a deposit paid by the promotion. He was slated to compete against Simon Miller at the event.

This incident follows Riddle’s release from WWE in September 2023. The dismissal came after video footage surfaced showing him reportedly intoxicated and disruptive at John F. Kennedy international ⁤Airport, ‍where he was allegedly shouting at passengers.

The⁢ no-show at the charity event has prompted criticism, particularly given the cause it was intended to support. The‍ failure to fulfill the commitment raises questions about⁤ Riddle’s professionalism and respect for charitable organizations and the vulnerable populations they serve.
