Harare – Former Zimbabwean cricketer, Guy Vitale, was injured in a tiger attack. Vital was airlifted to Harare and underwent emergency surgery. The actor is said to have overcome the danger. International media reported that Chikara, a domestic dog, was also injured when he resisted the tiger’s attack. His wife Hannah Stokes Wittal has shared pictures of the star in the hospital on social media.

The star has injuries on his head and hand. Vitale is being treated at Harare’s Milton Park Hospital. Vital was attacked by a tiger while trekking in the morning. In 2013, a giant crocodile was found under the bed in Vitali’s residence and it was big news. Vital slept on the bed all night without knowing there was a crocodile.

Vital now runs a safari business in Humani, Zimbabwe. Guy Vitale has played 46 Tests and 147 ODIs for the Zimbabwe national team. He last played for the national team in 2003. The player has scored 2207 runs including four centuries in Tests. He also took 51 wickets. He has scored 2705 runs and 88 wickets in ODI cricket.
