‘Fortnite’⁤ to Let‍ Players Create ⁤AI NPCs ⁣in Unreal Editor

Following the successful integration of AI Darth vader, Epic Games announced plans to let⁢ players ⁢create‍ their own ⁣AI NPCs within ‘Fortnite’ using Unreal Editor.this move aims to expand the game’s ⁣creative possibilities and enhance player interaction.

The AI Darth Vader, voiced using technology⁣ developed with the permission of James Earl Jones’ family, can engage in conversations, join squads, and provide gameplay assistance. Jones, the iconic voice of Darth Vader,⁤ died in September 2024.

During the State of Unreal⁣ 2025,‍ Epic ⁣revealed the new Persona Device, which will allow ⁣creators to ⁣design characters with unique personalities and voices. Players can then interact ‍with these custom AI NPCs within the game.

In‍ addition to the AI NPC creation tools, well-known ⁣IP is coming to UEFN, including⁢ ‘Squid Game’ on June⁣ 27, ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’, and official ‘Star wars’ features. Lego brick-by-brick building is⁤ also coming to UEFN on June 17, and also the new LEGO Bloom Tycoon template.
