French diplomats and embassy staff in those countries were also barred from missions. Families of diplomats stationed in Tehran, the capital of Iran, have decided to return home.

According to foreign media, Israel is strengthening its preparedness posture as it anticipates a direct attack by Iran on its territory within the next 48 hours.

Israel warned that it would respond directly if Iran attacked. As a result, the risk of an escalation of war in the Middle East region increases.
