Walsh herself was located fully clothed in a tub of bloody water, bearing cuts on her wrists and thighs, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors stated she had recently become very invested in the widely publicized Massachusetts case, which involved a mother killing her three children before attempting suicide and drawing intense public focus to maternal mental health.
Following the child’s pronouncement of death, an autopsy determined that Barrett Walsh died of asphyxia due to ligature compression of the neck. Police noted that a final cause and manner of death remained pending as the investigation continued.
