The Center for Independence is hosting a Low and No-Cost Vaccine Clinic on November 14, from 9 am to 2 pm. The event will take place at 740 Gunnison Avenue in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Vaccines Offered:
The clinic will provide various vaccines, including:
- COVID-19
- Flu
- Hepatitis A
- MMR
- RSV
- Mpox
- Pneumonia
- Shingles
- Tdap
- Varicella
Accessibility Focus:
Jennifer Shook, Program Development Coordinator, stated that the clinic aims to help individuals who typically do not have access to these vaccines. "We want you to be able to choose the best for yourself, your family, and your community," Shook said.
The clinic allows individuals to receive multiple vaccines based on their needs. However, Shook recommends getting no more than 2-3 vaccines at once to minimize soreness.

The timing of the clinic aligns with the colder months, which often bring an increase in illness due to indoor gatherings. Shook highlighted the importance of staying healthy during this time.

For those unable to attend on November 14, another clinic will be held on December 2.
