The fourth-seeded Townsend and King prevailed 3-6, 7-6 (7-2), [12-10] in a tense match held on Court Simonne-Mathieu. This defeat prevents Skupski and Krawczyk, who have previously secured two Wimbledon titles together, from contending for the mixed doubles title at this year’s French Open.
