Abandoned Dog Finds New Home After Training

Burger, a dog abandoned in an abandoned school on Chung Uk Estate, accidentally bit her owner after being adopted. Volunteers from “Adesto” then decided to enter a training school to be taught by a dog trainer. The owner has been paying the fee for more than 3 months. Burger was less than a year old and was abandoned as a baby at a primary school in Chung Uk Estate that had been closed for many years. Because the school had been chosen as the voting site, staff arrived on the eve of election day to prepare and found her, so she was handed over to Ad Shiduo.

Burger was quickly adopted, but he started biting the owner. The volunteers said: “Burger has never attacked the male owner. We estimate that the female owner has a gentler personality and does not behave well with dogs. The owner has been to two dog trainers, but the problem has not been solved.”

The dog trainer has allowed Burger to have a clear and regular lifestyle in recent months. The volunteer described: “We went to visit Burger last month and we had the feeling that he understood people better than before. He didn’t feel confused all the time.”

According to the dog trainer’s advice, it is best for the adoptive family to have more private space for the dog and allow him to have a regular routine. Also, Burger will not be able to get along with more dominant dogs. If the adopter wants to be mentally prepared, he can go to lessons with Burger first to learn how to get along with him.
