Watan: “From the world to Palestine: You are not alone.” With this message, the International Alliance of Friends of Palestine was launched in Ramallah, on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The coalition includes a spectrum of individuals, institutions and associations around the world that support the Palestinian cause.
The launch of the coalition, which was organized with the participation of individuals, including parliamentarians, ambassadors, and influencers via video conference from all countries of the world, represents a global cry to end the occupation, achieve justice for the Palestinian people, and stop the genocidal war.
Deputy Chairman of the Fatah movement, Mahmoud Al-Aloul, told Watan: The coalition constitutes a voice from the world to the Palestinian people to support and defend them, and this is what created a kind of political balance, which prompted hundreds of thousands of peoples of the world to come out to support the Palestinian people in light of what is happening in the Gaza Strip. Gaza is suffering from a war of extermination and killing of women and children.
In turn, the representative of the International Alliance of Friends of Palestine, Dr. Kifah Radaida, told Watan: The coalition seeks to end the occupation in accordance with international law through international solidarity with the Palestinian people.
She added that the coalition includes individuals, institutions, trade unions or associations supporting the Palestinian cause from all countries of the world.
Member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ramzi Rabah, continued to Watan: This event is a declared call to all the peoples of the world that Palestine is not alone, in light of the great outburst that we are witnessing in most of the capitals of the world that emphasizes the support of the Palestinian people and their rights and the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. These demands are universal for the Palestinian people, and this means that the world has come to support the Palestinian people through the International Alliance of Friends of Palestine.
Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Wasel Abu Youssef, pointed out that the war has strategic goals to displace our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and has only achieved the killing of children and women, and the destruction of homes, schools and hospitals.
In light of what is happening in the Gaza Strip of the genocidal war carried out by the occupation against the Palestinians, the international coalition came to build a broad international base that supports the Palestinian cause and works to put pressure to stop the genocidal war.
