From Zero to Hero: How Tottenham’s Unlikely Star Emerged with a Stunning Transformation
Tanguy Ndombele’s Resurgence After Leaving Tottenham Hotspur
Tanguy Ndombele is continuing his impressive performance after parting ways with Tottenham Hotspur. The British newspaper ’Football London’ recently highlighted the recent performances of players who left the team, including Ndombele.
Ndombele’s name was among the many players who left Tottenham in the summer transfer window, including Giovanni Lo Celso, Oliver Skipp, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. He joined OGC Nice in Ligue 1, France, after mutually terminating his contract with Tottenham.
Ndombele initially joined Tottenham in the 2019-20 season for a whopping 62 million euros (90 billion won). Although he seemed like a great addition to Tottenham’s midfield, he failed to live up to his transfer fee and adapt to the Premier League. He made mistakes, was often injured, and was criticized for his performance and attitude.

Ndombele went on loan to Serie A Napoli and Turkish Galatasaray but failed to make an impact. He won the league title for two consecutive years but was just a backup. However, since joining Nice, Ndombele has been working hard and showing good form. He started in three consecutive games, recorded an assist in the third round, and was selected as the best player (MOM) of the game.

‘Football London’ praised Ndombele, saying, “After a tough few years, he got exactly what he needed. He got a lot of playing time. He showed overwhelming performance by recording an assist in the recent match against Angers.”
