Southeast Net reported on October 30 (Fujian Daily reporter Zheng Huang, correspondent Zheng Yajun) Thanks to the rising popularity of tennis, as a strong sporting goods manufacturing province, Fujian’s tennis racket export performance is eye-catching. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, our province’s tennis racket exports from January to September this year were 634 million yuan, ranking second in the country. From the perspective of exporting countries, the main export markets are the United States, Europe, Japan and the UK, with a total export of 437 million yuan from January to September, accounting for 68.98% of the total export value in the same period; sales in the Central American market increased, with exports of 4.37 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43.68%.
Chen Yuhong, export manager of Xiamen Xinkai Composite Technology Co., Ltd., said that the rotation of major tennis events in the world has promoted the popularity of tennis and also driven the sales of the company’s tennis rackets. In the first three quarters of this year, the company exported more than 630,000 tennis rackets of various types, with an export value of approximately 160 million yuan. The main export type was carbon fiber tennis rackets.
In order to help sporting goods manufacturers pass customs smoothly, Xiamen Customs continues to innovate supervision and optimize services, and establish long-term mechanisms such as “customs officials send policies to your doorstep” and “clear problems” to fully support the development of sporting goods and other special industries. At the same time, it guides companies to interpret the tax reduction schedules of free trade agreement partner countries in detail, select the best types of certificates of origin, and develop emerging markets based on actual product conditions, helping companies make full use of policy dividends and better expand the international market.
