7th Basketball “AICHI CENTRAL CUP” 1st Match: Nagoya D vs Mikawa

The AICHI CENTRAL CUP, a tournament featuring Aichi Prefecture-based teams from the Central Division of the men’s <a href="https://newsdirectory3com/a-drama-without-a-script-for-girl-in-the-goal-an-all-time-great-opening-match-unfolded/” title=”A drama without a script for 'Girl in the Goal'… An all-time great opening match unfolded”>professional basketball B.League Division 1 (B1), kicked off on the 7th. The participating teams include Nagoya Diamond Dolphins (Nagoya D), San-en NeoPhoenix, SeaHorses Mikawa, and Fighting Eagles Nagoya (FE Nagoya), competing for the championship in a tournament format.

The first match was between Nagoya D and Mikawa. During the pre-match player introductions, a huge cheer erupted when the name of Yutaro Suda, who was captain of Nagoya D until last season and transferred to Mikawa during the offseason, was announced. The applause came not only from Mikawa fans but also from Nagoya D supporters.
