Full Swing is a popular sports docuseries on Netflix, created by the team behind the ‍successful F1: Drive to Survive. The series focuses on the world of professional golf, specifically the PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association of America)⁣ Tour, and the controversies surrounding it. It features prominent PGA golfers like Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and rory McIlroy, showcasing their personal and professional lives, behind-the-scenes moments from games, and the intense rivalry between the U.S.and Europe.

‍ As of August 30, 2025, Netflix has ⁤remained relatively quiet regarding the launch of ⁤ Full Swing Season 4, sparking ⁢speculation among fans. This article ⁣will explore the current status of the series, potential release dates, expected cast members, ⁣and what viewers can anticipate.

Why the Silence Around Full Swing Season ⁢4?

Netflix typically generates notable buzz for its upcoming releases, but the lack of promotion for Full Swing Season 4 is ⁢unusual. Several factors could contribute to this silence. One possibility is that production was delayed due to the ongoing negotiations and restructuring within professional golf, especially the conflict between the PGA ⁣Tour and LIV Golf. ⁢ The New York Times reported extensively on the proposed merger between the PGA⁣ Tour, DP World tour, and ‍LIV Golf in December 2023, a deal that ultimately fell apart, creating further uncertainty.

⁢ Another reason could be strategic timing. Netflix might be waiting for key events in the⁢ golf calendar to conclude before announcing the release date, maximizing viewership. The Ryder Cup, for example, is a major event that often features prominently in Full swing, and Netflix may wont to capitalize on⁢ the excitement⁣ surrounding it.
