G20 leaders photo shoot at Trevi Fountain… President Moon’s Biden Absence

President Moon Jae-in, who is visiting Rome, Italy to attend the G20 summit, did not attend the site where the leaders of each country gathered to take a commemorative photo.

US President Joe Biden was also absent.

President Moon had originally planned to attend the G20 summit group photo shoot scheduled to be held at the Trevi Fountain on the morning of the 31st (local time).

However, in the footage released by reporters from around the world, President Moon, President Biden, and Chinese President Xi Jinping Wang Yi, a member of the State Council for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs, were not seen.

Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stood in a line in front of the Trevi Fountain to take a photo.

The Blue House explained that prior to taking a commemorative photo, the organizers had notified that the event had been canceled.

However, he did not explain why the leaders of other countries arrived at the Trevi Fountain and took pictures.
