The Ministry of Finance has confirmed that Galicia is slated to receive €10.239 billion in deliveries on account, marking a 9.2% increase compared to 2024.According to the ministry, this represents the highest funding level in the community’s history.
The Council of Ministers has approved a Royal Decree-Law to update these deliveries on account for both the autonomous communities and local entities in 2025. This move aims to provide greater financial stability and resources for regional administrations.
Nationwide, the autonomous communities are expected to receive a record €147.412 million, a 9.5% increase from the previous year. This figure includes the settlement of 2023,which accounts for the difference between estimated and actual income,totaling €11.692 million.
the Ministry of Finance noted that the total financing for the autonomous communities will reach €158.167 million, a 2.5% increase compared to last year. In Galicia’s case, the €10.239 billion in deliveries on account will be supplemented by an additional €680 million from the 2023 settlement.
