Widespread Rail Cancellations and Alternative Routes
According to National Rail service disruptions data, all lines running between Didcot Parkway and Reading are closed, preventing trains from operating between those stations. Great Western Railway (GWR) advised passengers not to travel on any route between Didcot Parkway and Reading, noting that major disruption is expected to continue until at least the end of the day. CrossCountry also confirmed that no services are operating between Oxford and Reading in either direction.
