On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Hannibal police responded to a reported stabbing at a residence in the 1800 block of Grace Street shortly before 5 a.m., leading to the arrest of 26-year-old Angelynne Gaumond of Hannibal.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with a stab wound to his abdomen. The victim reported that Gaumond had forcefully entered the residence and assaulted him with a knife. The man was treated on scene by Marion County Ambulance personnel for non-life threatening injuries.
Gaumond was located, arrested, and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she remains on a $75,000 cash-only bond. The 10th Judicial Circuit of Marion County issued a warrant for her arrest on the same day.
Gaumond has been charged with burglary in the first degree, domestic assault in the first degree, armed criminal action, and resisting arrest for a felony. These charges stem from the incident at approximately 4:50 a.m. When police were dispatched to the Grace Street residence.
