Hamas: Hostages can be exchanged

6.40 p.m.: The terrorist organization Hamas says it is prepared to release the hostages it has kidnapped if Israel, in turn, releases all Palestinian prisoners. This is the “price” that Israel must “pay,” said Abu Obeida, spokesman for the militant organization’s armed wing, in a video message broadcast by Hamas television on Saturday.

“The price to be paid for the large number of enemy hostages in our hands is to empty the (Israeli) prisons of all Palestinian detainees,” Obeida said.

Israel: Gaza City now a “battlefield”

6.30 p.m.: The Israeli army has warned Palestinian civilians that Gaza City and its surrounding areas have now become a “battlefield.” The shelters in this zone are “not safe,” the army said Saturday in leaflets dropped from warplanes over the Gaza Strip. It calls on civilians to flee southwards “immediately”.

Shortly before, the Israeli government announced that Israel’s war with Hamas had “entered a new phase.” “Last night the ground shook in Gaza. We attacked above the ground and below the ground,” said Israeli Defense Minister Joav Gallant in a video message, referring to the Israeli bombing of tunnels in the Gaza Strip.

Terrorists are said to have confirmed Israeli information about the headquarters

6.20 p.m.: Israel’s army released videos on Saturday in which suspected members of the terrorist Hamas confirmed the use of the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip for their own purposes. There are “subterranean levels” beneath Shifa Hospital, a terrorist said during an interrogation, according to one of the videos.

Hamas transports its explosives, weapons, food and medical equipment there, it said. The video also shows that Hamas members hid in clinics or schools during Israeli attacks. The reason for this is that Israel does not bomb them.

According to the military, the videos show the interrogations of two Hamas terrorists who were involved in the brutal massacres in Israeli border towns on October 7th. The information could not initially be independently verified.

Türkiye: Erdoğan incites more than 500,000 people

4:40 p.m.: Against the backdrop of Israeli military actions against the terrorist organization Hamas, a pro-Palestinian rally with more than half a million people has begun in Istanbul. The ruling AKP party called for this, and the main speaker was President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He evoked the time of the Ottoman Empire and spoke of Gaza being within “our borders”. The national conservative politician published part of his speech on Platform X.
