The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has delivered approximately 30 tons of medical supplies and therapeutic nutrition to Gaza, focusing on alleviating the worsening health crisis, notably malnutrition among vulnerable populations. This aid delivery is part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” a UAE humanitarian project dedicated to supporting civilians in Gaza.
Focus on Women and Children
The aid is specifically intended to benefit around 20,000 women and children in Gaza, addressing health problems stemming from malnutrition. the supplies include specialized nutrients rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids, formulated with ingredients like peanuts, milk, and sugar to provide essential support for those suffering from nutritional deficiencies.
Delivery and Coordination
A special flight transported the aid from the UAE to Al arish airport in Egypt. upon arrival, a UAE humanitarian aid team meticulously received and sorted the goods, ensuring compliance with all safety standards before transport to Gaza for distribution. This effort is being carried out in collaboration with the UAE and the Sakhar Charity Foundation.
