Geely has recently introduced the Galaxy L6 sedan, the latest addition to the second generation of its popular Galaxy series. This sophisticated vehicle is available for pre-order at the 2023 Chengdu Auto Show in China. Priced between 128,000 and 158,000 yuan (approximately 6.16 to 7.61 hundred thousand baht), the Galaxy L6 offers four sub-model options: the 60 km AIR, 60 km PLUS, 125 km MAX, and 125 km Starship. The front end of the Galaxy L6 is characterized by its sleek, sharp headlights. Just below them, a vertical LED light bar and a line of Daytime Running Lights adorn the blackout grille. The discreetly hidden door handles enhance the car’s smooth exterior, while chrome accents on the window sills add a touch of luxury and sportiness. At the rear, the slip-back design features LED taillights that span the entire width of the car, alongside a prominent diffuser which further enhances its sporty appeal.

The Galaxy L6 is equipped with Geely’s NordThor Hybrid 8848 system, which combines a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine boasting an impressive 44.26% thermal efficiency, a 3-speed DHT transmission, and dual P1+P2 electric motors. This configuration provides a power output of 120 kW (163 hp) and 225 Nm, while the electric motor contributes an additional 107 kW (145 hp) and 338 Nm. The combined result is an impressive maximum power of 287 kW (390 hp) and maximum torque of 535 Nm. The car offers four driving modes: pure electric mode, mileage increase mode (Range-Extender Mode), Smart Mode, and Performance Mode.
Furthermore, the Galaxy L6 features two batteries: a 9.11 kWh battery for a range of 60 km in pure electric mode, and an 18.7 kWh battery for a range of 125 km in pure electric mode. With both batteries combined, the car is capable of a total distance of 1,320 km and 1,370 km, respectively. The Galaxy L6 boasts a fuel consumption rate of 4.55 liters per 100 km, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 247 km/h.
Interior Design
Inside the cabin, the Galaxy L6 impresses with a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel and a 13.2-inch vertical infotainment touchscreen equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor. The two-spoke multi-function D-Shape steering wheel adds a touch of elegance and functionality. The car operates on the Galaxy N OS system and offers various luxury features, including 270-degree adjustable rear seats, an ambient light system with 256 color options, and an automatic fragrance system.
Lastly, the Galaxy L6 boasts a Panorama glass roof, divided into two separate pieces from left to right, with a crossbar in the middle for added strength and stability.
