GeForce RTX series

our source andkopite7kimiand information from Chiphell, the GeForce RTX 4000 series specifications are as follows.

▼GeForce RTX 4090
The GeForce RTX 4090 specs are AD102-300 GPU, 16384 CUDAs, 2520 MHz boost clock, and 24 GB GDDR6X 21 Gbps VRAM. The power consumption (TGP) is said to be 450W by default and can be set up to 660W. However, 660W is the maximum TGP that can be set from the BIOS to the last, and it is not necessarily adopted in the actual product (custom model or Olifant model).

▼ GeForce RTX 4080 16GB
The GeForce RTX 4080 16GB specs are AD103-300 GPU, 9728 CUDAs, 2505MHz boost clock, and 16GB GDDR6X 23Gbps VRAM. Power consumption defaults to 340W and can be set up to 516W. Again, 516W is the upper limit of the maximum power consumption.

▼ GeForce RTX 4080 12GB
The GeForce RTX 4080 12GB is the model previously mentioned as the GeForce RTX 4070. NVIDIA last minute changed the name of this model to GeForce RTX 4080 12GB. The specs are AD104-400 GPU, 7680 CUDAs, 2610MHz boost clock, 12GB GDDR6X 21Gbps VRAM. Power consumption defaults to 285W and can be set up to 366W.

At the moment, there is no information about the GeForce RTX 4070, and with only a few days left until the announcement, AIB does not expect any changes from here.As for the release date, the GeForce RTX 4090 is expected in the first half of October 2022, and the GeForce RTX 4080 series is expected around the first two weeks of November.More detailed information, including suggested retail price, will be available soon.

GeForce RTX 4000 series specs based on leaks

The GeForce RTX 4080 12GB has been rumored recently, but according to VideoCardz, it appears that it will actually be launched. Interestingly, there is a difference of 2048 CUDAs between the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB and 12GB models. (Honestly, I wonder if there is some kind of mistake?) I’m very curious about the difference in performance and price due to this difference in specs.

VideoCardz reports that “AIB doesn’t think changes will be made from here,” but note that it’s just leak information, so you don’t know what will actually happen.

The GeForce RTX 4000 series is expected to be officially announced by NVIDIA on September 20, 2022.
