FIBA 3×3 Challenge Tianjin Station: A High-Level Basketball Event
The 2024 FIBA 3×3 Basketball Challenge Tianjin Station is set to take place in Tianjin Dongjiang Seaside Park from September 14th to 15th. This prestigious event is one of the FIBA’s high-level official events, attracting top teams from around the world.
A total of 14 teams from eight countries and regions, including China, Serbia, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Austria, and others, will participate in the Tianjin competition. The top three teams will qualify for the FIBA 3×3 Manama Masters, making this event a crucial stepping stone for teams vying for international recognition.
The Tianjin station boasts a strong lineup, featuring world-class players such as Stojacic (Serbia), the world’s number one player, and Paris Olympic champion Wojciech de Jong (Netherlands). Dejan Mastolovic (Serbia), the Masters historical scoring champion, will also be in attendance, ensuring a thrilling display of basketball skills.
The competition coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival, and organizers have planned a range of activities to complement the basketball event. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Graffiti Art Festival, street culture party, and other festivities will bring together fashion elements such as sports, culture, food, and music, creating a vibrant atmosphere for spectators.
The event is authorized by the International Basketball Federation and guided by the Tianjin Sports Bureau and Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone Management Committee. Tianjin Dongjiang Port City Culture and Tourism Group Co., Ltd. will host the event, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants and spectators.
