Exclusive: Sky Showtime Expands Lineup with Yellowstone Sequel and More

European streamer Sky Showtime is set to leverage the success of Yellowstone with ‍the addition of⁤ a sequel series, Madison, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, as well as a second season of the prequel series 1923, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.

SkyShowtime, a joint venture⁣ between Paramount and Comcast, is available in ‍over 20 European territories and has ‌shared details about its upcoming lineup, which includes‌ a variety of premium US and international series and movies.

The streamer’s ownership of the company gives it access to the content pipeline of Paramount, NBCUniversal, and⁤ Sky Studios, ⁢allowing it to offer a ⁣diverse range of titles, including ‌ Yellowstone 150, a documentary starring ‍Kevin Costner that explores Yellowstone National Park ⁣and investigates the ⁤events that led to its preservation.

Other‌ big-ticket new series include The Agency, a political thriller starring Michael Fassbender and executive produced by George Clooney, ⁣as well ​as dramas Happy Face, starring Dennis Quaid as a real-life serial killer, and Dexter: Resurrection.

In addition to American-made products, ‍the streamer also has a limited series produced in the UK, Lockerbie: In Search of Truth, a true crime documentary series about the air disaster of the same name, starring Colin Firth.

Some‍ of the films premiering on SkyShowtime include If, Kung Fu Panda ⁣4, ‌ Back to Black, and Man of Autumn.

“We ​continue to expand our ⁣offerings with must-see series like Lockerbie: In Search of Truth and The Agency, as well ​as exciting⁤ spin-offs and returning fan favorites,” said Kai Finke, SkyShowtime’s chief content officer. “We’re also excited to announce the expansion of the Yellowstone universe with Madison and the second season of 1923.”

The above-mentioned titles will air alongside a variety of local originals, ‍with 8-10 titles set to⁣ be added to the service this year, for a total of 20 shows.
