Get Ready to Turn the Page: ‘Riyadh Reads’ Takes Center Stage at the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024

The Literary, Publishing and Translation Authority has released the slogan for the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024 titled “Riyadh Reads”.

The exhibition program, organized by the authority, will begin at King Saud University from September 26 to October 5 with the participation of pioneers of culture, literature and thought from the state, region and the world.

The concept of the logo is based on consolidating the importance of reading and explaining its role in improving the quality of life and broadening the intellectual and cultural horizons of readers, besides featuring the reader-friendly city of Riyadh as the logo. Several people are pictured carrying books with the slogan “Riyadh Reads” which reflects the spirit of the exhibition as it conveys its cultural, intellectual and literary content.

The Literary, Publishing and Translation Authority organized an awareness campaign on the slogan of the Riyadh International Book Fair, in addition to activating billboards to attract the attention of the general public, parents, children, youth, readers and publishers. on the streets of Riyadh and at King Khalid International Airport, including several pictures of people with the slogan “Reading Riyadh.

More than 2,000 publishing houses and organizations from states, regions and the world are participating in this year’s edition of the exhibition, distributing more than 800 pavilions and belonging to more than 30 countries, which clearly reflects the great importance of the Riyadh International Book Fair. As it is the most important and prominent book fair at regional and global level.

In its new edition, the exhibition presents a rich cultural program that includes more than 200 activities suitable for all ages and includes many seminars, dialogue sessions, lectures, poetry evenings and workshops that will be presented by writers, thinkers and elite groups. Intellectuals from Saudi Arabia and various countries around the world and discussed various topics The outdoor premises of the exhibition will include many interactive performances and individual cultural, artistic and theatrical events presented by many artists and dramatists.
