Oosting’s move comes amid speculation about his potential reunion with Peter Uneken, a former colleague at De Graafschap, according to RTV Oost. The Drenthe-based club has not commented on the possibility of Uneken joining the coaching staff but emphasized that Oosting’s appointment aligns with their long-term strategy. “Joseph’s experience and understanding of the league make him a logical choice,” a club spokesperson stated, citing internal discussions.

The decision to leave PSV, where Oosting served as assistant coach under manager John van den Brom, contrasts with his previous role at De Graafschap.
