■Personal comment
I never imagined that my adventure in Japan would last so long after the Tokyo 2021 Olympics. Japan has now become my second home and I can’t wait to face a new challenge in an ambitious club like Fagiano Okayama.
I remember being really moved by Okayama fans during away games in the 2022 season.
The discussions with the club were very positive and they showed me particular gratitude and respect. In the end I chose this club because its ambition and vision corresponded to what I was aiming for.
I’m really looking forward to uniting the gaming philosophies of Germany and Japan and bringing out the best in each other. Of course I would like to learn many new things and share my experience with the team.
I would also like to work together to create a positive atmosphere where every player of Okayama Pheasant can do their best to win at any time.
Being able to fight for victory is a great privilege that not everyone has. For this reason I will give my best not only on the pitch, but also off the pitch.
