“Good posture”… Kim Hee-cheol’s remarks about Honey J being attacked

The remarks made by singer Kim Hee-cheol while dancer Honey J confessed that she had been attacked by a gangster in the past are controversial online.

Honey J, who appeared on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’, which aired on the 20th, said, “I lived in a densely populated area in the past, but as soon as I got out of the taxi, I saw a man walking in the other direction turned and came towards me. I looked around, but there was no one.” He talked about the tense situation at the time.

What became controversial was the scene in ‘Knowing Bros’ when Honey J said, “I’m sorry if I misunderstood, so I went into the alley first” and Heechul Kim responded, “It’s a very good attitude.”

Regarding this, some netizens raised the question, “Are you saying that you need to control your fear even in an urgent situation?”

Another viewer pointed out that in the process of talking about Honey J’s assassination, it was difficult to understand that some panels of ‘Knowing Bros’ took it as a light joke. When Honey J said, “The boyfriend I met at the time drove me all the way to the alley every day,” some responded that it was inappropriate to say, “He also had a cause.”

On the other hand, there were also opinions that it is too much to make a problem with a light remark in an entertainment program.

Some critics defended that Kim Hee-cheol’s remarks were also made in order to sympathize with Honey J’s saying, “You can’t catch a living person”, but they defended it as unfair to criticize it too much.
