Pennsylvania small businesses ⁤now have access to⁣ a suite of no-cost resources ‍designed ⁣to help them integrate artificial intelligence into their operations.The initiative, dubbed the AI⁣ Accelerator for Pennsylvania small businesses, was launched September 11, 2024, at the AI Horizons Summit ‍in Pittsburgh by Selin ⁢Song,⁣ President⁢ of⁢ Google‍ Customer Solutions, alongside Pennsylvania Governor Josh ⁣Shapiro, the ⁢Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce, ⁤and Team pennsylvania.This program is an extension of the broader AI Works for America initiative, first⁣ announced in July 2024.

Hands-on Training and Online Courses

The Accelerator ⁣offers a multi-faceted approach to AI education. Businesses can participate⁤ in live, hands-on workshops led by a‍ dedicated Pennsylvania AI ‍Coach in collaboration with local community organizations. the‍ first workshop,held on ⁤September ⁣11,2024,accommodated 50 small businesses. Complementing ‍these in-person sessions ⁣are⁢ the Google AI and Prompting Essentials courses, providing foundational ⁤online training for teams to learn AI tool ⁢usage at their own pace.

Upskilling Opportunities with ‍Google Career⁣ Certificates

Recognizing the need for specialized skills,⁢ the program also provides access to Google Career Certificates. These certificates allow businesses to⁢ upskill their workforce in high-demand fields‍ such as cybersecurity,data analytics,and project management – crucially,no prior experience is required.
