ABU DHABI: Children, don’t waste your vacation, you can work, study and earn money. The new offer of Ministry of Human Resource Indigenization is in front of 15 perfect students. Along with gaining work experience by working, you will also get a work experience certificate. The government allowed children to work under strict conditions.
Students can enter into employment contracts for three months with the consent of their parents. The nature of the work should be specified in the contract.
Wages, weekend leave and daily working hours should be specified in the contract. Students should not be employed under strict conditions.
The ministry has also set limits on vocational training for them. Do not work at night in factories. Children are not allowed to work from 8 pm to 6 am. The maximum work time is 6 hours. One hour can be allowed for things like food and prayer. It is also suggested not to work continuously for 4 hours without rest. The training period shall be treated as working hours. The institution should issue work experience/training certificate to the children who come out after completing 3 months of work or vocational training. Their work during this period should be evaluated.
But employment and training during vacations shall not be eligible for service benefits. Officials informed that no other holidays will be allowed during this period except for the holiday in the employment contract.
