Moreover, the bank’s outstanding loan balance at the end of the second quarter of 2023 stood at 1,640,593 million baht, marking a 2.65% increase compared to the previous year. This growth was complemented by a rise in total assets to 1,692,170 million baht, reflecting a 1.97% increase. The bank also experienced a notable surge in outstanding deposits, reaching 1,840%, up by 70,045 million baht or 4.27% from the end of 2022. However, the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio remained stable at 3.74%, showcasing the bank’s sound lending practices.

Highlighting its commitment to financial prudence, GHB allocated a substantial allowance for doubtful accounts, amounting to 138,452 million baht. This allocation represents 197.66% of the NPL figure, ensuring the bank’s preparedness for future challenges while facilitating sustainable growth.

With a net profit of 6,534 million baht and a robust capital adequacy ratio (BIS ratio) of 15.29%, which exceeds the minimum capital requirement set by the Bank of Thailand (BOT), GHB remains well-positioned for continued success in the housing finance sector.
