The government made this announcement today (24th) by holding a meeting on price stability issues chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance Choi Sang-mok.

It was decided to apply new tariff quotas to five agricultural products, including cabbage, cabbage, carrots, grapes, and dried seaweed, and two processed foods, including cocoa beans and seasoned seaweed.

In addition, we intend to provide support for distribution costs for 25 items, including cabbage and tomatoes, and supply all government stocks of 6 species of fish, including monkfish and squid, within this month.

In addition, the government decided to strengthen the market collusion surveillance function of the Fair Trade Commission.
