Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has decided to recover the salary of Swapna Suresh from his job at Space Park. The government sent a letter to PricewaterhouseCoopers asking them to return the dream salary. The action is based on the report of the financial audit department.
The audit report said the government should recoup the losses incurred by making appointments using forged documents. M. Shivshankar, former KSTIL MD Jayashankar Prasad and PricewaterhouseCoopers were recommended by the audit department for recovery.
Swapna was posted to Space Park under the IT department. Swapna was hired by PricewaterhouseCoopers, a consultancy firm. The government has decided not to pay the Rs 1 crore due to PWC as consultancy fee without repaying the amount.
