Green Cross announced on the 1st that its operating profit for the third quarter of this year on a consolidated basis was 48.8 billion won, a decrease of 31.7% from the same period last year.
Sales were 459.7 billion won, down 1.3% from the same period last year.
Net profit fell 27% to 42.4 billion won.
Green Cross explained that sales have fallen due to the base effect, which recorded record sales of the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine last year.
Cumulative operating profit for the third quarter was KRW 133.7 billion, an increase of 18.4% compared to the same period last year, and cumulative sales were KRW 1.29 trillion, an increase of 14.5% compared to the same period last year’s period.
Green Cross explained that the prescription drug sector is growing thanks to the expansion of its own advanced products, and the vaccine and blood product business is also growing.
