Kim Jun-woo, chairman of the Green Justice Party’s standing election committee, said: “The Green Justice Party has failed over the past four years and has sometimes been buried in Yeouido’s political engineering,” adding: “We were wrong.”
At the same time, he said: “The spirit of this general election is the judgment of the government, but the general election is not the end, but the beginning,” and appealed: “We will become the last bastion for the marginalized , those without quotas and the excluded”.
Sim Sang-jeong, chairman of the Joint Election Committee, also stressed: “We are conducting the general elections through a period of deep reflection,” and added: “We will clearly establish the reason for our existence as a clear opposition party that opposes the total regression of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration”.
