Grundfos Extends EHF Partnership to 2030

Pump manufacturer Grundfos has prolonged its commercial alliance with the European handball Federation (EHF) untill 2030. The agreement ensures Grundfos remains an official partner for both men’s and women’s EHF European Championships for the next three editions.
The deal encompasses the EHF Euros in 2026, 2028, and 2030, with both men’s and women’s tournaments scheduled for each of those years. Infront, the EHF Euros’ exclusive media and marketing partner, brokered the partnership extension, which also runs through 2030.
During the last cycle of its EHF sponsorship,Grundfos sponsored the player of the match award at both the men’s and women’s Euros,an initiative that began at the men’s Euros in 2020. The commercial relationship between Grundfos and the EHF has spanned nearly two decades,during which they have collaborated to boost the societal impact of handball events and raise awareness of global water and climate challenges. This long-term handball sponsorship highlights Grundfos’ commitment to the sport and its values.
Martin Hausleitner, secretary general of the EHF, expressed pride in Grundfos’ continued engagement and looks forward to further promoting sustainable actions through their partnership.
In mid-May, the EHF also extended its agreement with German supermarket chain Lidl. Lidl will maintain visibility across TV and digital platforms and will continue to present the ‘Best Young Player’ award.
Ulrik Gernow, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Grundfos, stated that handball mirrors the spirit Grundfos brings to its work, emphasizing passion, unity, and performance. He said the company is proud to continue its collaboration with the EHF and Infront.
The next men’s EHF Euro will be jointly hosted by Denmark,Sweden,and Norway from Jan. 15 to Feb. 1, 2026. The next Women’s EHF Euro will take place from Dec. 3 to 20 in Poland, Romania, Czechia, Slovakia, and Türkiye, also in 2026.
