Gulf News: Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah can design new logo; Prize of Rs 10 lakh

Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah may design a new logo. The competition is for designers in Saudi Arabia. The prize money is Rs 10 lakh (50,000 riyals), the ministry said. The logo must have two swords and a palm tree with the emblem of Saudi Arabia.

There should be symbols of Hajj and Umrah. The main parts of the logo should indicate Arabic and English. The logo should reflect the vision and mission of the Ministry. The logo should be simple. There should be no complicated components. The logo should reflect the purpose and message of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The new logo should represent the place of Hajj and Umrah in the Islamic world. The structure of the logo should be of equal geometric dimensions. Designs must be submitted by December 21 to icd@haj.gov.sa.

UAE crowns highest civilian honor for Saudi Crown Prince

Abu Dhabi: Saudi Crown Prince, Cabinet Vice President and Minister of Defense Muhammad Bin Salman has been awarded the UAE’s highest civilian honor, the Order of Zayed. Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented the award on behalf of the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan at a ceremony in Qasr Al Watan.

The Order of Zayed is an award given to world leaders, including heads of state. The award recognizes contributions to strengthening ties between the two countries. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Emir Mohammed bin Salman Salman, who arrived in the UAE as part of the GCC tour, received the greetings.
