GuliKit Unveils Versatile Dock Accessory for Steam Deck and More

GuliKit, a company known for its range of peripheral accessories for the Steam Deck, recently announced the upcoming release of a new docking station. This docking station is designed to mimic the look of the American Super Nintendo and will provide users with the ability to easily connect their Steam Deck to a TV or large screen for output display. Additionally, it can be utilized as a desktop gaming machine, paired with a Bluetooth joystick.

Notably, this dock accessory is not limited to use with the Steam Deck alone. It is compatible with other devices such as the ROG Ally from ASUS, the AYANEO series handsets from Arnold & Son, and even the popular Nintendo Switch.

In terms of specifications, the docking station offers a USB-C connection for charging, as well as an external charger connection hole capable of delivering up to 100W of power transfer. Moreover, it features a wired network connection port, HDMI output, and three USB 3.0 connection ports. The video output capabilities are impressive, reaching up to 4K resolution at a smooth 60Hz refresh rate.

Visually, the docking station draws inspiration from the design concept of the American Super Nintendo. It boasts cooling holes within its socket groove, and when not in use, it can be manually moved back and forth to cover the device.

Unfortunately, an official launch date for this dock accessory has yet to be confirmed by GuliKit. However, it is expected to be available by September at the earliest. As for the price, it has not been disclosed yet. Additionally, it remains to be seen whether other designs, such as a Japanese version of the Super Nintendo, will also be introduced.
