Haas F1 Team warns Schumacher “Serious discussion if crash”[F1-Gate .com]

Guenther Steiner, head of the Haas F1 Team, said Mick Schumacher would have to have a “serious discussion” if the crash continued.

In his second year, Mick Schumacher, who has yet to score points in his F1 career, has experienced many instinct early in the 2022 season. In the previous race, the Monaco Grand Prix, his car broke in half due to a crash and was wrecked. It was the second total loss accident of the season.

“The chassis is being repaired. In fact, the chassis itself isn’t too damaged,” Guenther Steiner said of the car’s damage.

“There was a fairing that had to be replaced, but it’s been checked. It’s a normal check. Everything looks good. The engine is OK. The gearbox isn’t OK and many other parts are OK. do not have”

The Haas F1 Team had few spare parts throughout the opening stage of the season. The situation could become even more volatile as incidents continue in future races.

Asked if Mick Schumacher crashes again, Gunter Steiner 0 replies, “I can say that.”

“Also, at some point we’ll run out of parts and we can’t keep making them, so we’ll have a serious conversation.”

“Also, you can’t physically spend that much money. You need to make sure nothing happens here.”

But Guenther Steiner says he wants to avoid putting pressure on Mick Schumacher if he needs to talk to the 2020 F2 champion.

“If you need to sit with him and explain that he shouldn’t crash … I think he knows, so we shouldn’t have such a conversation.”

“I’m not going to put pressure on him by saying don’t crash, I never do that, they know the weight of crashing.”

“It’s a sport, it’s very competitive and it’s easy to step over the mark a bit. Especially on this track like Monte Carlo, here, Jeddah, Montreal, Singapore, we don’t repeat what we did in Monte Carlo. So he needs to adjust himself. “

“I wouldn’t tell him to do better five times. That would only make it worse. It would be the opposite reaction.”
